Our services are provided to families at no cost. We're compensated by the senior living communities and providers in our network when a placement occurs — this doesn't change what we recommend, and we encourage you to independently tour, evaluate, and verify the licensing and reputation of any community before making a decision.
7. Intellectual Property
Everything on the Website — text, graphics, logos, layouts, video, audio, and software — belongs to Silver Steps Placement or our licensors and is protected under U.S. copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. No rights are transferred to you by using the Website, and any unauthorized use may violate applicable law. Our name, logo, and marks may not be used without our prior written permission.

d. Arbitration Procedure. If the Dispute isn't resolved informally, it will be submitted to binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed-upon arbitration organization (such as JAMS or AAA), under that organization's rules, conducted in Los Angeles County, California, or another location the parties agree to. The arbitrator will be a licensed attorney or retired judge and may award any relief that would be available in court, subject to the limitations in these Terms. Judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
e. Arbitration Fees. For individual claims involving less than $25,000, Silver Steps Placement will pay the arbitration filing and administrative fees. For larger claims or requests for injunctive relief, fees will be shared as provided by the arbitration organization's rules. If an arbitrator finds a claim frivolous, the party bringing it may be required to reimburse the other party's arbitration costs.
f. 30-Day Opt-Out. You may decline this arbitration agreement by emailing Info@SilverStepsPlacement.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, including your name and a clear statement that you're opting out of arbitration.
